As we wrote in our Forex Analysis from September 8, 2021, the last trade from the backtest with STS_MA_Distance_Tester is short and is a loss. Additionally, the last 4 positions after the V-shaped bottom are of the same type - short.
Based on that, we loaded our STS_MA_Distance_Bot to open long positions when our STS_MA_Distance_Indicator shows a distance of 30 or more pips to 10 EMA. The Trading Robot is also set to open a position on each next H4 candle, if the conditions for distance to 10 EMA are still met.
The bot opened 2 long trades and closed them when the price touched 10 EMA. We closed only half volume of the last position, removed the Trading Robot, and left the other half for long-term profit target with stop-loss on zero risk.
