As we wrote in our Forex Analysis from September 14, 2021, the last 2 trades from the backtest with STS_MA_Distance_Tester are a loss. Based on that, our expectations were for the next situation to be profitable.
For this reason we loaded our STS_MA_Distance_Bot to open trades when our STS_MA_Distance_Indicator shows a distance of 30 or more pips to 10 EMA. The Trading Robot is also set to open positions on each next H4 candle, if the conditions for distance to 10 EMA are still met.
The Trading Robot opened 8 long positions and closed 7 of them when the price touched 10 EMA. We removed the bot and protected the last one at zero risk (we moved the Stop-loss above the opening price) for long-term target.
